Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MakrBee (the "Service"), operated by Molu, LLC ("Molu," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using MakrBee, you agree to these Terms. If you're using MakrBee on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

The Service

MakrBee helps small product manufacturers track ingredients, packaging, manufacturing costs, inventory, marketplace fees, and expenses to understand their true per-product and per-channel profit. MakrBee is an organizational and analytical aid — it is not a substitute for professional tax, accounting, or legal advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of any filings or decisions you base on information from the Service.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by teammates you invite to your business account.

Subscription Plans and Billing

MakrBee offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with additional features and usage limits. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Your Content and Data

You retain all ownership rights to the business data you enter into MakrBee — your products, recipes, purchases, inventory, expenses, and everything else you record. You grant Molu a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you. We don't use your business data to train third-party models or share it for any purpose other than operating MakrBee, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, and for having the right to enter any data about vendors, employees, or other third parties that you add to your account.

Marketplace Integrations

MakrBee may let you connect third-party marketplace or platform accounts (for example, Amazon, Etsy, or Shopify) to import order and sales data. Connecting a marketplace account is optional and requires your explicit authorization. Your use of any connected marketplace remains subject to that marketplace's own terms of service — MakrBee is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party platforms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to MakrBee, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product
  • Upload malicious code or content that infringes someone else's rights

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations, reports, or AI-generated insights will be complete or accurate for your specific circumstances. MakrBee does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice — consult a qualified professional before relying on the Service for filings or business decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Molu, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using MakrBee and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use MakrBee after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
